HONOLULU – The new Young at Heart Expo is preparing to welcome thousands of island residents aged 50+ Friday through Sunday, September 20, 21 and 22 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall (777 Ward Avenue). Showcasing the very best from Hawai‘i and beyond, organizations will have the opportunity to promote the latest in health, financial and lifestyle products & services.
“The three-day event will feature hundreds of booths for businesses and organizations catering to this lucrative market where most of our economy’s discretionary spending is concentrated. Exhibitors will also interact with attendees through a broad range of seminars and qualified speakers. In addition, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser is unveiling a custom program publication and website making it even easier for attendees to locate and follow up with exhibitors while staying informed on the many activities taking place each day.” said Gerald Shintaku, Director of Star Events.
“Presented by MDX Hawai‘i – UnitedHealthcare, the Expo offers attendees, their close family and friends learning opportunities, food and fun taking place throughout the weekend including chances to win great prizes,” said Danny Kaleikini, official Ambassador of the Young at Heart Expo. “I will be joined by emcee Al Waterson, singer Jordan Segundo and other leading entertainers. And don’t miss The Celebrities & Their Pets Fashion Show! This event is an all- inclusive resource bringing together the premiere products and services available for making the best years of life even better.”
“Powered by our Star Events division, I am excited that the new Young at Heart Expo will feature notable brands and specialty providers from across the islands,” said Dennis Francis, President and Publisher of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to receive free flu shots, product samples and live demonstrations while learning more about healthy living, money matters and leisure in your later years.”
